Records stored on your device

The game uses this browser's local storage for lesson progress, expression checkpoints, collected characters, scores, language and theme preferences, sound preferences and daily help counts. These records are not sent to an account, teacher dashboard or game database. Clear this site's browser data to remove them. Clearing data also resets the saved game records.

There is no game account, user identifier, cross-site tracking, visit-tracking script, fingerprinting or advertising cookie added by the game. We do not currently collect anonymous play-completion reports either.

Website delivery

The website uses Vercel and Cloudflare Pages for static delivery. The vocabulary.top address currently uses Vercel; play.vocabulary.top and radical-stack.pages.dev use Cloudflare Pages. To deliver the page, prevent abuse and operate its network, each hosting provider processes request information such as IP address, requested URL, browser information, time and response status under its own policy. These operational requests are not a count of individual players. See Vercel's privacy policy and Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Fonts and game assets are served with the website. The game does not load an external font service. If the hosting provider changes, this notice will be updated to reflect the actual service.

Mandarin playback

The speaker button passes the displayed Chinese text to your browser or operating system's speech service. Available voices and whether speech uses an online service depend on that browser, device and provider. The game does not record your microphone or upload a voice recording.

External links and optional support

External websites are contacted when you follow their links. The game does not embed Ko-fi widgets, payment forms, pixels or payment scripts. Adult visitors may choose voluntary, one-time support on Ko-fi, which does not unlock game rights or features.

Ko-fi and its payment providers process payment details and cookies under their own policies. They may share the supporter's name, email and transaction details with the creator. The game software does not receive or import these details; this does not mean support is anonymous to the creator or payment services. Please do not use the support link if you are under 18. See Ko-fi's privacy policy.

Learning cards and the source index may link to third-party dictionaries or license pages. Those pages have their own data practices.

Advertising and changes

No advertising is currently served by the game. Applying to an advertising platform, or publishing a static account-verification tag, does not itself enable ads. Before advertising scripts are enabled, this notice and the applicable privacy choices must describe the actual provider and processing. We do not treat silence or continued play as consent.

Children

This game also welcomes learners under 13. Children do not need to register, provide a name or email, or make a payment to play. The game has no chat, public profile or user uploads. Please ask an adult to contact the creator about any problem, and do not send a child's private details. The optional support link is for adults only.

Advertising is not currently enabled. Any future advertising must use the provider's applicable child-directed treatment and must not introduce personalized advertising or remarketing for this audience. A support link or static verification tag does not establish that those future advertising settings have been completed.

Email the contact above for a privacy request or content correction. If you email us, your email provider and ours handle that correspondence, and we receive the address and information you choose to send. Please avoid sending sensitive information. Browser-only game records can be deleted locally; the operator does not have a remote copy to retrieve.
